An Act relative to health insurance coverage for fertility treatments.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 47H of Chapter 175 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking the last sentence and replacing it with the following new sentence: –

“ For purposes of this section, “ infertility ” shall mean the condition of a presumably healthy individual who is unable to conceive or produce conception during a period of one year, or is unable to carry a pregnancy to term. ”
