An Act relative to parental notification of medical malpractice or error sustained by minors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 111 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 220 the following section
:—
Section 221. Any medical professional shall be required to provide immediate parental notification of the impact of medical treatment negligence or error as proximal to the discovery of such
negligence
or error involving a pediatric or minor patient.
