An Act relative to voluntary or optional life insurance for municipal employees.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1.   Section 11A of chapter 32B of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the first paragraph and the accompanying table and inserting the following new paragraph: -

Each employee insured for the minimum amounts of group life and group accidental death and dismemberment insurance provided in section five may, subject to such conditions as the appropriate public authority shall approve, be insured for amounts of group life insurance and group accidental death and dismemberment insurance in addition to the minimum amounts provided for in section five, in an amount not greater than $150,000.
