An Act relative to naming "The Road to Boston" in memory of Benny Emerick .


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any rule or regulation of the department of highways to the contrary, a portion of Route 16 in Uxbridge shall be designated and known as Benny Emerick’s “Road to Boston”  The department of highways shall erect suitable markers bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department and any existing historic preservation guidelines or statutes.
