An Act relative to local control of health education curriculums.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 32A the following new section:—
Section 32B. Every school district shall adop
t a policy ensuring parental/guardian notification of the contents of its health education curriculum and policy of exemption as provided for in section 32A.
To the extent practicable, health curriculum program materials shall be made reasonably accessibl
e to parents, guardians, educators, school administrators, and others for inspection and review.
