An Act to establish a supplementary tax rate.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1.
Notwithstanding any provisions of section Twenty Three of Chapter Fifty Nine of the General Laws or any other law to the contrary, the board of assessors of the town of Rockland, with the approval of the board of selectmen, is hereby authorized to set a supplementary tax assessment in said town, in addition to the previously approved tax assessment, to raise an amount not to exceed $637,543.51 dollars in order to correct a clerical error for the fiscal year Two Thousand and Nine, and such tax assessment shall be collected in accordance with the provisions of chapter sixty of the General Laws.
Section 2.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
