An Act authorizing the treas urer of the town of Dennis to borrow in anticipation of reimbursement from betterments assessed.

An Act authorizing the treasurer of the town of Dennis to borrow in anticipation of reimbursement from betterments assessed.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the town of Dennis may borrow in anticipation of reimbursement from betterments assessed in connection with work on private ways open to and used by the general public in accordance with section 1 of chapter 117 of the acts of 1997.

SECTION 2.   This act shall take effect upon its passage.
