In the Year Two Thousand and Nine

An Act authorizing the town of Winchester to issue 5 licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises for restaurants containing 70 or more seats.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The licensing authority of the town of Winchester may issue, to 5 restaurants with seating capacities of not less than 70 seats, licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises.
The license may be granted by the licensing authority to
the
applicant if the applicant files with the authority a letter from the department of revenue indicating that the license is in good standing with the department and that all applicable taxes have been paid.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage
