An Act to Exempt Clerical Positions in the Town of Billerica from Civil Service.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 31 of the General Laws, clerical positions in the Billerica Department of Public Works, the Billerica Fire Department, the Billerica Board of Appeals and the Billerica Building
Department shall
be exempt from the provisions of civil service.
SECTION 2.
The provisions of this act shall take effect upon its passage.
