An Act Relative to the Historic Districts Commission of the Town of Concord.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The first paragraph of section 4 of chapter 345 of the acts of 1960 is hereby amended by inserting after the word “Society” in line 6 the words
:-
doing business as the Concord Museum.
SECTION 2.
Said first paragraph of said section 4 is hereby further amended by striking out the words “Public Library” in line 10 and inserting in place thereof the words:- F
ree Public Library Corporation.
SECTION 3.
Said first paragraph of said section 4 is hereby further amended by striking out the word “
conservation
” in line 18 and 19 and inserting in place thereof the words:- natural resources.
SECTION 4.
The second paragraph of said section 4 is hereby amended by
adding the following sentence:-
If the trustees of the Concord Free public Library Corporation, the planning board, the natural resources commission or the Concord Antiquarian Society doing business as the Concord museum fail to nominate candidates in accordance with this section within 90 days of a written request by the board of selectmen for nominees said board may proceed with an appointment to fill the vacancy.
SECTION 5.
The fourth paragraph of section 8 of said chapter 345 is hereby amended by striking the words “forty-five” in line 2 and inserting in place thereof the figure:- 60.
SECTION 6.
The first paragraph of section 10 of said chapter 345 is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following sentence
:-
Notice of the action with a copy of the complaint shall be given to the town clerk so as to be received within such 20 days.
