An Act Exempting Active Duty
Military Personnel from the Civil Service Physical Fitness Test.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 61A of chapter 31, as so appearing is hereby amended by inserting after the fifth paragraph the following paragraph:-
Any applicants shall be exempt from undergoing the in-service physical fitness examinations if the applicant is active duty milit
ary personnel and has successfully passed a military physical fitness test within the last six months.
