Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding chapter 32 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System shall credit Cynthia Whittington with service she rendered between 1973 and 1976 while teaching at Saint Anthony’s School in the city of Fitchburg, for the purpose of calculating a retirement allowance pursuant to said chapter 32.
