An Act relating to the police career incentive pay program.
Be it enacted by the Senate and
House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 108L of chapter 41 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the words “The board of higher education is hereby authorized
and directed to establish and maintain a list of approved courses leading to a degree in law enforcement” the following:-
“Any full-time member of a police department participating taking approved coursework at an accredited college or university shall
not be responsible for fees from the college or university associated with enrollment in the approved course or courses.”
