An Act relative to group 4 for health care professionals.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 3 of chapter 32 of the G eneral Laws, as appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “for ten years or more;” in line 337 the following new words:--

“employees whose regular and major duties require them to be licensed health care professionals, employed in such capacity for ten or more years who provide treatment for or are responsible for the care of persons who are prisoners, or persons who are forensically involved, mentally ill or mentally retarded or chronically psychologicall y impaired or persons whose chronic infectious disease exposes these employees to disabling injuries, violent acts or risk of chronic infectious disease;
