An Act requiring certified notice of credit card statements.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1. Section 11 of Chapter 140D of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following paragraph:-

“Such disclosure shall be made by certified mail to the primary accountholder; provided, that certified mail shall not be required if the primary accountholder has opted to receive a paperless statement.”
