AN ACT
relative to assuring that motorcyclists between the ages of 16 and 18 are
provided with adequate education relative to the proper safety a
nd operation of a motorcycle
.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1
.
Section 8 of
chapter 90, as appearing in the 1998 Official Edition and amended September 1, 2007, is hereby amended by adding to the end of paragraph 2 of said section the following new clause:
(f) For a motorcycle license, applicant must have successfully completed a
Motorcycle Basic Rider Course (BRC) approved by the registrar and presented, in such form as the registrar may require
SECTION 2

This bill shall take effect July 1 2009.
