An Act
relative to flea market vendors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The definition of “Transient Vendor” in Section 1 of Chapter 101 of the General Laws as so appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after the first sentence the following:-
“The provisions of this chapter
may
not apply to vendors and promoters in flea markets
at the option of the city or town where the flea market is located by
so called.”
SECTION 2.
Section 2 of Chapter 101 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence of this paragraph and inserting the following:-
“The provisions of this chapter will not apply to vendors and promoters in flea markets so called.”
