An Act r elative to the e xtension of g reyhound r acing.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, dog racing or racing meetings where any form of betting or wagering on the speed or ability of dogs occurs may be conducted or permitted until January 1, 2012, only at one race track located in Raynham, Bristol County, where such activity was licensed by the c ommission during the Year 2009, and the commission is authorized to accept and approve any application or request by the licensees authorized to conduct such activity at such location for ra cing dates for dog racing thereat until January 1, 2012.

SECTION 2. This act sha ll take effect upon its passage.
