An Act Relative to Vocational Education.
Be it enacted by the Senate
and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The definition entitled "Service programs” in Chapter 74, Section 1 of the General Laws is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
“Service programs: the preparation of students in occupational areas such as hotel and lodging, cosmetology, child care or any service occupation that by its nature is characterized as being a service (professional or non-professional). Such programs
will be in compliance with the program approval criteria regulations published by the board.
SECTION 2.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
