An Act Relative to
Martha's Vineyard
Hospital.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary
,
t
he
division of capital asset management and maintenance, in consultation with the department
of mental health, is hereby authorized to transfer from the department of mental health all of its right, title and interest in the property known as Lot 151, a 1.7 acre parcel of land located on
Eastville
Avenue in the town of Oak Bluffs, to a non-profit
hospital, known as Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, located in the town of Oak Bluffs. The parcel to be so transferred is more fully described in an instrument recorded with the Dukes County Registry of Deeds at Book 303, Page 516. In return, the Hospital s
hall transfer all of its right, title and interest in the property located at
364 State Road
, as more fully described in the Dukes County Registry of Deeds at Book 565, Page 745, a .38 acre parcel of land located in the town of
Tisbury
, to the department o
f mental health. Transfer of said parcels shall not be subject to the provisions of
Chapter 7
of the General Laws.
