Mr. Conroy of Wayland move that the bill be amended Mr. Conroy of Wayland hereby seeks to amend Chapter 164 Section 72 by adding subsection (b) as follows:



In the course of maintaining reliability of power along transmission line rights of ways, including easements covering private and public property, each electric company, distribution company, generation company, or transmission company or any other entity providing or seeking to provide transmission service shall compensate property owners whose vegetation has been deleteriously affected by vegetation maintenance or power transmission reliability activities in the form of replantings of trees, shrubs, flora, and other vegetation such that the value of the property owned is restored to its pre-vegetation management activity value.
