An Act relative to public warehousemen.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                               SECTION 1.  Section 1 of chapter 105 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “warehousemen”, in line 4, the following words:- provided that the corporation’s chief executive officer shall be responsible for licensure for the purposes of this act and shall be concurrently listed with the corporation as the licensee.

                               SECTION 2.  Section 1 of chapter 105 is hereby further amended by striking out the words “upon the payment of a license fee as determined annually by the commissioner of administration under the provision of section three B of chapter seven”, in lines 5 through 7, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- A public warehouseman shall obtain an annual license from the commissioner upon the payment of a license fee as determined by the secretary of administration and finance under the provision of section 3B of chapter 7.

                               SECTION 3.  Section 1 of chapter 105 is hereby further amended by inserting, after the first paragraph, the following paragraph:-

                               The department shall make and promulgate regulations which shall require the bi-annual renewal of such licenses, provided further that, from time to time, the department may alter, amend and repeal, rules and regulations relative to the licensure and operation of public warehouses.
