The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to employees of the Department of Correction and Sheriffs Departments.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3 or Chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other special or General Law to the contrary, all public employees who are employed by the Commonwealth of Sheriffs’ Departments whose normal work location is a locked facility shall be classified in Group 4 for retirement purposes. |
