An act to improve  emergency medical services training.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              Section 1.  Section 19 of Chapter 111C of the General Laws as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following clauses:-

              (3a) register, attend or; falsify an attendance sheet for an instructional course, training, refresher training ,or other designations; that has not be properly certified, accredited or approved by the department shall immediately loose the certification and forfeit any increase in salary attached to the certification.

              (3b) Whoever willfully engages in a knowing pattern of conduct or series of acts over period of time or aids and abets another in obtaining certification, license, or other designation under the emergency medical services system shall be punished by a fine of not more than 5,000 dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year.
