An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Laurie Bourassa, an employee of the Department of Developmental Services.
 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish a sick leave bank for Laurie Bourassa, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
                                           
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the department of developmental services of the commonwealth shall establish a sick leave bank for Laurie Bourassa, an employee of the department of developmental services. Any employee of the department of developmental services may contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Laurie Bourassa. Upon such time as said Laurie Bourassa’s termination of employment with said department of developmental services or requests to dissolve said sick bank the balance of sick leave shall be transferred to the department of developmental services paid leave bank.
