An Act requiring pain assessment and management in healthcare facilities.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              Section 1.  Section 70E of Chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after subsection (o) the following new subsection:-

              (p) to prompt assessment, management and treatment of his or her pain.
