              Pursuant to the provisions of Section 33 of Chapter 30 of the General Laws, I hereby submit the attached legislative recommendations from the Auditor of the Commonwealth for consideration during the 2013-2014 legislative sessions:

 

The attachments to this letter contain summaries of the proposed recommendations and the actual legislative drafts incorporating the recommendations.

 

The proposed bills are:

 

              AN ACT TO ENHANCE THE ABILITY OF THE BUREAU OF SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS TO ADDRESS FRAUD

 

              AN ACT REGARDING THE SUBPOENA POWERS OF THE BUREAU OF SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS

 

              AN ACT TO ADDRESS FRAUD IN THE PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT PROGRAM

 

              AN ACT RELATIVE TO TAX EXPENDITURE INFORMATION
