The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An act relative to filing fees for limited liability companies.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 12 of chapter 156C, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking subsection (d) of paragraph (9) and inserting in place thereof the following: The fee for the filing of the certificate of organization required by subsection (a) shall be five hundred dollars. The fee for the filing of the annual report required by subsection (c) shall be two hundred and fifty dollars for any such limited liability company with five or fewer employees; or five hundred dollars for any such limited liability company with greater than five employees. Such fees shall be paid to the state secretary at the time the certificate of organization or the annual report is filed. |
