An Act relative to the definition of open space under the Community Preservation Act.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              Section 2 of Chapter 44B of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking the definition of “Open space” and replacing it with the following:

              “Open space”, shall include, but not be limited to, land to protect existing and future well fields, aquifers and recharge areas, watershed land, agricultural land, grasslands, fields, forest land, fresh and salt water marshes and other wetlands, oceans, rivers, streams, lakes, ponds and other bodies of water, beaches, dunes and other coastal lands, lands to protect scenic vistas, land for wildlife or nature preserve and land for recreational use.
