The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act to amend Chapter 90B, section 8 by adding the following provision.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 8 of Chapter 90B of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following provision: Notwithstanding any law or special law to the contrary, for the purposes of determining sentencing and other requirements for multiple convictions of operating a vessel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, any prior conviction of operating a motor vehicle within the commonwealth while under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall be deemed to be an additional offense under this chapter. |
