The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to taxation abatements.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any General or Special Law to the contrary, Chapter 58, Section 8 of the General Laws, as appearing in the Official 2010 Edition, is hereby amended, by adding at the end of the section, the following:
"The Commissioner shall exercise his or her authority under this section to correct any assessment errors, regardless of the effects on taxes or charges."
