An Act to study traffic patterns on Greenough Boulevard in Watertown. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of conservation and recreation, in consultation with the department of transportation, shall conduct a study of Greenough Boulevard, located in Watertown. Said study shall include, but not be limited to an evaluation of the intersection at Grove Street and Greenough Boulevard for heavy traffic and safety concerns, an evaluation of the possible installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Grove Street and Greenough Boulevard. The department of conservation and recreation shall report to the general court the results of its study and its recommendations, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry out its recommendations by filing the same with the clerks of the senate and house of representatives, the joint committee on transportation and the senate and house committees on ways and means not later than December 31, 2011. |
