The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to the use of a magnetic identification card reader machine when purchasing alcohol.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 34B of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting in line 16 after the word “card,” the following:--
or an out of state license that has been validated by use of a magnetic identification card reader machine,
; and further by striking in lines 21 through 23, inclusive, the words “a liquor purchase identification card or motor vehicle license issued pursuant to said section eight” and inserting in place thereof the following:-
identification permitted by this section
