The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to funerals.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 85 of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1996 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following sentence:— The board shall not adopt and promulgate any rule or regulation prohibiting any person registered with said board or an agent or employee of a licensed funeral establishment from providing, handling or serving any food or liquid refreshments in connection with any burial or funeral. |
