An Act relative to the local authorization of playing fields.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Paragraph (2) of subsection (b) of section 5 of chapter 44B, as amended by section 77 of chapter 139 of the acts of 2012, is hereby amended by adding the following words after the word "prohibited":- "; provided that projects approved by a municipality for the acquisition of artificial turf for athletic fields prior to July 1, 2012, shall be authorized as a permitted use of community preservation funding." Section 2. Section 1 shall take effect upon passage. |
