The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to fire safety.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 81 of Chapter 146 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting in line 15 after the word “installation” the following: “, service, testing, maintenance and inspection”.
SECTION 2. Section 81 of Chapter 146 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting in line 22 after the word “modification” the following: “service,”.
SECTION 3. Section 81 of Chapter 146 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting in line 23 after the word “inspection” the following: “testing”.
SECTION 4. Section 81 of Chapter 146 of the General Laws is hereby amended in line 63 by striking the word “who” and inserting the following: “employed by a licensed fire sprinkler contractor who”.
