The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to substance abuse treatment.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 9A of chapter 118E of the General Laws as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after clause 16, the following clause:-
(17) Persons with a medical diagnosis of opiate addiction shall be MassHealth eligible for coverage of treatment including, but not limited to, opiate blocker implants.
