An Act prohibiting certain disruptions at military funerals and other services . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: Chapter 272 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 42A the following section:- Section 42B. Whoever willfully creates an interruption or disturbance within 1,000 feet of an assembly being held to conduct a military funeral or memorial service or within 1,000 feet of a military funeral procession or burial shall be punished by imprisonment in a jail or house of correction for not more than 2 years or by a fine of not more than $2,000 or by both such imprisonment and fine. |
