An Act relative to employees with concurrent service in two or more governmental units .
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              Chapter 32, section 5 (2) (e)  is hereby amended by adding the following:

              “,provided that an employee who began contributions to one of the governmental units prior to 1980  will be exempt by this law.”
