The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to traffic safety.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Paragraph 1 of section 18A of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words:- “One dollar for the first second and third such offense committed in a calendar year, and by a fine of two dollars for the fourth or subsequent offense in a calendar year”, and inserting in place thereof:- “twenty-five dollars for the first offense, fifty dollars for the second offense, and seventy-five dollars for the third and subsequent offenses.” |
