The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to lowering the sales tax to 5%.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”. SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 64I of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”. |
