The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to real estate document disclosure.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Chapter 93 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following new section:- Section 115: Not less than 48 hours prior to the conveyance of a deed to real property or the execution of a refinancing agreement on real property, buyers or borrowers shall be provided a document from the lending institution containing a descriptive title of every document to be executed upon such conveyance or refinancing. |
