The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act simplifying the language of documents published by the Commonwealth.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, no documents published by the Commonwealth shall be written in language which exceeds the comprehension level generally accepted in the public schools as a third grade level. |
