The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act prohibiting polystyrene packaging by 2017.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection shall promulgate regulations to prohibit the use of polystyrene packaging by the year 2017, including but not limited to carryout polystyrene packaging and polystyrene cups provided by a food establishment to a consumer. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection shall promulgate regulations to enforce this act. |
