The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act creating uniform beach warnings.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 91 of the General Laws, as appearing the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:- Section 60. The department shall create a uniform warning and safety flag program at public beaches along the coast of the commonwealth. Said program shall provide for a uniform size, shape, color and definition for each warning and safety flag. Participation in the program shall be open to any city or town having jurisdiction over a public beach along the coast. |
