The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to the notification of an insured.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 7 of Chapter 176O of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following: (c) A carrier shall provide to the insured notice of default of payments made by the employer of the insured prior to cancellation of the policy covering the insured. |
