An Act relative to optometrists scope of practice.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1.  Section 66B of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in the first paragraph, after the words “except for those listed in schedule” and inserting after the following new words: “III through”             

              SECTION 2.  Section 66B of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the last sentence in its entirety and inserting the following new sentence:

              “For the purposes of this section and section 68B, the term “therapeutic pharmaceutical agents” shall mean those pharmaceutical agents required for the diagnosis, prevention, management or treatment of abnormal ocular conditions or diseases.”
