An Act enhancing identification of taxicab operators.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                              SECTION 1. Section 22 of Chapter 40 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding, at the end of the third paragraph thereof, the following sentence:- The name or the trade name of the owner and the name of the city or town in which it is licensed, the name of the driver, and the plate number, shall be posted inside the taxicab in a prominent position in one or more locations, so as to be legible and visible to a passenger in any seat.
