An Act relative to sales tax on personnel protective equipment. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, is herby amended by inserting, after the first paragraph of subsection (k), the following:- “(1) sales of all items of personnel protective equipment mandated by the governments of the United States, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or any other government entity. This shall include but is not limited to helmets, gloves, boots, jackets, pants, or safety vests for individuals while participating in an activity for which the personnel protective equipment is required.” |
