By Mr. Levy of Marlborough, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2837) of Steven L. Levy for legislation to authorize the courts to exempt certain youthful offenders from the requirement to register as sex offenders.  The Judiciary.

An Act relative to sex offenders.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1. Subsection (e) of section 178E of Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the subsection in its entirety.
